After a long period of time without a licensed minister, the Open Episcopal Church in Kirkwall now has a new Priest. Helen was ordained as a priest in St Magnus' Cathedral, Kirkwall on 21st August 2010
Helen has been busy since she was appointed to the Open Episcopal Church in Orkney as an ordained Deacon and will be running a retreat centre which will be having an open day on 14th September, with a Eucharist at 10:30 a.m., a bring and share lunch, meditation between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. followed by Tea and then Evening Prayer at 4:30 p.m. Everyone, and that includes YOU, is invited to attend and participate as fully as you wish to
