The Open Episcopal Church in Scotland

An Independent Catholic Community Church

A Registered Charity: SC037428

Livingston

Our bishop, the Rt Rev David Gillham, has worked closely with other churches in the town of Livingston for many years now and has formed an especially close relationship with the Livingston Ecumenical Parish

Bishop David pioneered the ASDA chaplaincy service and became the first Scottish ASDA chaplain in 2002 when he was appointed chaplain to the Livingston ASDA store, the largest hypermarket in Scotland. He remains the longest serving retail chaplain in Scotland and maintains a town centre presence on behalf of all Livingston Churches

David was for many years the convenor of the local Ministers' Fellowship and Churches Together in the town. He is Padre to the Livingston branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland and a member of the team chaplaincy at West Lothian College as well as an NHS Chaplain at St John's Hospital in Livingston
