Welcome to The Open Episcopal Church in Scotland. We are independent of any other church and have no relationship to The Open Episcopal Church in England & Wales. We are Old Catholic in tradition and succession, and serve the Scottish people in a modern and liberal way

 

  

 

Notice

It has come to our notice that people are receiving communications from Archbishop Jonathan Blake, denigrating our Scottish Church and in particular its Bishop. We must point out that Mr Blake has no jurisdiction over our Church which is totally independent from his jurisdiction, and that his extravagant and defamatory comments on our Bishop are totally without substance. We ask that anyone receiving such a defamatory communication from Mr Blake will contact our Church Authorities at diocesan.secretary@openiscopalchurch.org.uk so that we may give a full, true and clear refutation

The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) is the only statutory authority that regulates us and they are fully aware of Mr Blake's campaign against us.
