A Registered Charity: SC037428
At the present time The Open Episcopal Church in Scotland is unable
to continue recommending the work of Christians Against Poverty and
withdraws its support for that organisation
After they were contacted by Jonathan Clive Blake, who made false
but serious allegations against our church and bishop, they decided
that they would rather not become involved in inter church feuding
of such a vicious and intimidating nature. We are disappointed that
they chose to withdraw from partnership with us on the basis of
these false claims by Jonathan Blake that he is in charge of this
registered charity and has authority when he has none and the damage
done to the reputations of both ours and Jonathan Blake's church is
enormous. We would point out that we are a legitimate registered
charity with formal constitution and a statutory requirement to
follow closely the requirements of the Charities Act. Jonathan
Blake, on the other hand, chooses to run an organisation that has no
legal basis for its existence nor any regard for compliance with
regulatory authorities as is being proven by his continuing public
attacks on us
